At Buck Creek, our mission is clear: to produce the finest artisanal meats and eggs while embracing sustainable farming practices. Nestled in our family-owned farm, which has been cherished since the 1930s, we have cultivated a deep commitment to the land and our animals. We believe in raising livestock in a natural environment that allows cattle, chickens, sheep, and pigs to thrive. Each animal enjoys a stress-free life, living true to its nature—chickens scratch for seeds and bugs, while lambs prance freely and pigs revel in the dirt and mud of their pastures.
Our farming journey started in 2009 during a tough drought. With just six cattle and a single farmer's market, our family learned and adapted. Today, our team has grown to seven, including our sons' wives. We have expanded our reach from one market to two in McKinney, and we are thrilled to partner with local restaurants and gyms for wholesale distribution. Additionally, our subscription boxes, launched in March 2017, allow us to deliver fresh products across DFW, Texas, and beyond.
